Abstract
This study aimed to study and compare states and needs of parents towards
the management of Ta-Kaw School under the jurisdiction of the Office of Primary
Education in Ubon Ratchathani Region 5 in 4 aspects, namely: Academic Affair

Management, Budget Management, Personnel Management, and Office
Management. The sample included 153 student parents. The research tool was a 30
items of a 5 level rating scale type, asking about the states of school management,
with discrimination index (r) between .40-.76, and reliability of 95, and another

questionnaire of 30 items, asking about the needs of school management, with
discrimination index (r) between .28-.80, and reliability of 94. The statistics included
frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, and One Way ANOVA, and
pair test by using Scheffe’s method.

The findings were as follow:
1. The management states of Takaw School under the jurisdiction of the
Office of Primary Education in Ubon Ratchathani Region 5, as a whole and in
individual, was perceived as the moderate level, and the needs of parents towards

the management of Takaw School under the jurisdiction of the Office of Primary
Education in Ubon Ratchathani Region 5, as a whole and in individual aspects were
perceived as the high level.
2. The comparison of states and needs of parents towards the management

of Ta-Kaw School under the jurisdiction of the Office of Primary Education in Ubon
Ratchathani Region 5, both as a whole and individual aspects were statistically
different at .05 level of significance.
